The St. Xavier’s College Canteen is a website which displays the information of the different menu items in the College Canteen.  

Students with Visual Impairments (Low Vision and Blindness) find it difficult to read the Menu Items at the various counters in  the College Canteen area.  Most often students have to rely on either their friends or ask the person at the counter for assistance.

This project is in Collaboration with the Student Inclusion Cell (SIC) and Xavier’s Resource Center for the Visually Impaired (XRCVC).  

Menu

The college canteen has different counters like Chinese, Dosa, Pizza etc. This website has been developed using Google Sites and displays the different menu items of the various counters in the college.

QR Code

Each Counter would have a unique QR Code system which when  scanned  will  open the Website to the corresponding Menu Page.

Download PDF

The students can also download the entire menu in the form of a single PDF for offline use.
